Shakespeare BASH’d is a young actor initiative in Toronto that seeks to present Shakespeare’s plays as they were written: with simple staging, clear and specific language with an emphasis on the words, synethesized with the modern.

BASH’d was looking for icon designs for each of their four plays during their 2015/2016 season. The icons are inspired by the story James Wallis, Artistic Director of Shakespeare BASH’d, supplied me with. He had selected a quote from each play that should influence the design.

The marketing collateral was created with guerrilla marketing in mind—8.5″x11″ & 11″x17″ flyers were slapped up around Toronto to promote the upcoming season, with the ability to be resized for digital promotions.

The banners were used as cover photos for their facebook page, but could be implemented in large scale advertisements as well.

Coasters were used at the venues to promote the plays BASH’d had upcoming.
